- Don's favorite from when he was a kid - can be a salad with a meal or a dessert
Directions
Stir together 2 pkgs. lime flavored gelatine and 1+½ cups (125 ml) hot water and add ½ cup (125 ml) pineapple juice. Let stand until chilled add 1 cup (250 ml) crushed pineappple. Pour into pyrex cake pan (9"x13") and let harden. This makes the first layer.
The second layer is made by adding 1+½ cups (125 ml) hot water to 1 pkg. lemon flavored gelatine. Chill. Mash 1 pkg. cream cheese (8 oz (240 ml).). Whip together with 1 cup (250 ml) cream beaten with egg beater. Beat smooth. Add the chilled lemon gelatine and mix well. Pour over first layer and let harden.
Thrid layer: Add 2 cups (500 ml) hot water to 2 pkgs. cherry flavored gelatine, chill, pour on top of second and let it harden.
